This Is It was a planned series of fifty concerts by Michael Jackson to be held at The O2 arena in London. They were scheduled to begin in July 2009 and continue through March 2010. Less than three weeks before the first concert date, and with all concerts sold out, Jackson died after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest. Jackson officially announced the concerts at a press conference held inside The O2 arena. AEG Live, the concert promoters, released a promotional video that took up an entire commercial break, setting a record for ITV. The shows were to be Jackson’s first major series of concerts since the history World Tour finished in 1997, and had been cited as one of the year’s most important musical events. Over one million people would have attended in total. Randy Phillips, president and chief executive of AEG Live, stated that the first 10 dates alone would have earned the singer approximately £50 million. Originally only 10 concerts were announced, however public demand resulted in a 50 date sold out residency. Ticket sales broke several records and AEG Live stated that Jackson could have sold more dates. Jackson’s album sales increased following the announcement. In preparation for the concert series, the pop singer had been collaborating with numerous high profile figures, such as fashion designer Christian Audigier, choreographer Kenny Ortega and bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno. Michael Jackson & The Jacksons Victory Tour – Live In Kansas Billie Jean Color corrected – sound improved rare HD by dj_oxygene_8 Thanks to Tino MJ en.wikipedia.org The Victory Tour was the biggest and final concert tour of the United States and Canada in 1984 by The Jacksons. Beginning July 6 and ending on December 9, the tour included 55 concerts to an audience of approximately 2 million. It was named after the newly released Jacksons’ album Victory although none of the album’s songs appear on the tour’s set list (Marlon confirmed it was because Michael refused to rehearse or perform them). The tour reportedly grossed 5 million and set a new record for the then-largest grossing tour. Following a controversy with the way tickets were purchased, lead-singer Michael Jackson donated his proceeds (approx. million) from the tour to three charities, including the TJ Martell Foundation for Leukemia and Cancer Research, The United Negro College Fund, and the Ronald mcdonald Camp for Good Times.

Nobody has the full video of Billie Jean from this concert held at Wembley Stadium on July 15, 1997. However, since the full amateur-taped audio is of the very best quality, I’ve uploaded a video montage using other performances of Billie Jean during the second leg and combined it into a montage. The three concert videos I used were Munich, Copenhagen, and Gothenburg. NOTE: Any hate comments on MJ will NOT be tolerated, nor will complaints like “this is just Munich 1997!” The intro and its audio is from Munich; the Wembley audio starts at about 2:10 in the video.
