Living with Michael Jackson part 6 of 10

Living with Michael Jackson is a documentary, in which British journalist Martin Bashir interviewed Michael Jackson over a span of 8 months, from May 2002 to January 2003. It was shown first in the UK on 3 February 2003 and in the US three days later on ABC, introduced by Barbara Walters. Martin Bashir put the proposal to Jackson as a way to show the world the truth about him and make nothing off limits. Jacksons decision to make the documentary was made on the suggestion by his close friend Uri Geller. It later emerged that Geller had turned down another bid for the interview by journalist Louis Theroux. The interview was very unusual, as it had been extremely rare for Jackson to allow such access to his personal life, or to talk so freely about his traumatic childhood. Nevertheless, he did show some reserve when asked to discuss other personal issues, such as the plastic surgery he has had. Jackson felt betrayed by Bashir and complained that the film gives a distorted picture of his behaviour and conduct as a father. He claims that Bashir, in the final version of his interview, used only that material which supported Bashirs opinion of Jackson, which was not a favorable one. Jackson filed complaints with the UKs Independent Television Commission and the Broadcasting Standards Commission. Jacksons lawyers claimed in a British High Court case against Martin Bashir and Granada TV that the documentary was a breach of contract and breach of confidence. The proceedings were

Geraldo: Michael Jackson Was A “Normal, Competent” Father

On “The O’Reilly Factor,” Geraldo Rivera recalls spending a day with the late King of Pop and his children, and said that he was “an absolutely normal, competent loving dad.” To which O’Reilly asked Geraldo if he’d let his children sleep with Michael Jackson. He also comments on Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris saying goodbye to her father at his memorial service, and says some commentators who thought that moment was staged are “cynical”.

Michael Jackson – Smooth Criminal (Radio Edit) MV HQ

The media needs to get off of “Thriller’s” junk because THIS is MJ’s best in my opinion. And MJ IS the best, so “Smooth Criminal” = best music video ever made. The choreography, the setting, the angles, the synchronization–FLAWLESS. Plus, the song itself, and its beat is absolutely killer, too. I love how MJ is actually a BETTER dancer than his backup dancers (who are amazing as well). Music videos nowadays with all their CGI effects and whatnot can NEVER beat what simple talent, innovation, and hard work can do. RIP Michael Jackson, the greatest entertainer that ever was and will be. (Okay, so it’s not technically the OFFICIAL short version of the video. Basically, I’d been searching for a long time for a higher quality of the official radio edit version of the music video, but I never found one, so I made this with the HQ version of the Moonwalker version and HQ remastered audio. I switched up some parts to include more of MJ’s dancing.)
