Waaaay too much classic rock. I would suggest expanding your tastes.

Quite boring.

take out numbers 70 and 80 and you have yourself an awesome list
February 24th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
Good list, but you need to have Marilyn Manson in there.
You guys would rather have Billy Joel, Blink 182 ect then Manson? Seriously you don’t know music.

Pretty good list, i like the diversity, but I have to say, Michael Jackson doesn’t belong on any rock list, no matter who is playing guitar.
February 24th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
Very classic, with the exception of Blink 182 and Green Day. Good compilation.

And where are The Killers!?!?!? Blink 182, but not The Killers. I guess if this is just your opinion, fine but if you’re talking greatest rock songs ever, Mr Brightside and When You Were Young should be in there
February 24th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
Well, if you’ve got enough time to make this list, you get a star.
But it’s all the same stuff. Nothing new or fantastic.
February 24th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
no no no! you die in my country for that! best rocking and the rolling is by Jhad Mehcollah and Ghansdi Foprellai… Motley Crue can suck my hairy crab infested balls of the pubical area!///

TBH it seems pretty standard…theres nothing thats a surprise on there.

Just need to point out a personal pet peeve of mine. Number 88 which you have listed as "Woohoo" – Blur is actually called "Song 2."
As for the list, it’s okay. Some of the bands you mentioned have much better songs to their name than the ones you listed and your top 5 are all horribly overrated and overplayed, but this whole list-making business is all very subjective so it’s fine.

…"Hey Jude" or "Let It Be"?
You’ve got some damn good songs on there, but I don’t think they should all be in that order. And you’re missing quite a few bands. But those are your top 100, not mine.
Epic list, though.

A lot of good songs on there. I’m a bit surprised Blink 182 would be ahead of Black Sabbath, but, hey. it’s your list.
February 24th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
Sure those are all good songs but the list is very generic. You list only the big hits, seems like a list that Rolling Stone would put out or something. Very safe and corporate.
February 24th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
solid list. seems like it took a loooong time. i’d make changes. i like a lot of other types of rock too though but for the most part i like the list.

Wake me up when September Ends is not Green Day’s best song. Jesus of Suburbia, Basket Case, When I Come Around…
Nickelback? Why?
You have a good selection of Beatles songs, but you don’t have the best. Hey Jude, Yesterday, Eleanor Rigby, A Day in the Life…
Other than that, not bad.

Lame and Generic
February 24th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
Quite a good list in my opinion, although I personally wouldn’t have included Blink 182
Stairway To Heaven is an excellent choice for the top spot.

88 is called Song 2 and it should not be on. You spelled Led Zeppelin wrong and #77 (Kashmir) should be #1 on the list. Take away 99, 90, 80, 74, 31, 15, 4, 31, 23 and 1 and the list will be passable
