I believe that you only fall in love once,, and that’s with your soulmate.
I’m positive that none of you were close to Michael,, (except Janet). It is impossible to truly be in love without the aspect of even meeting them yet.
Love is VERY powerful. VERY. And when you’re in love,, have found your soulmate,, the feeling is reciprocated. Michael loves you all,, because he loves his fans,, but he’s not in love with any of you. Not.
Therefore,, I must say I love him. I love him more than anything. I love him in a way that gives me feelings I’ve never felt before. I just,, simply,, love him. Like I saw some other answers say,, he has their heart,, he has mine too. They don’t look at other guys,, neither do I. They are in love with him. No they are not. You CANNOT be. You don’t nkow that real Michael Jackson. So until you do,, you cannot honestly say you’re in love. You can’t.

Not in love with him but I love him and look up to him as a role model of how a person should be. Polite, respectful, smart, extremely generous and achieved everything he set his mind to. I think kids should really look up to and model their lives after people like this and not Paris Hilton and Megan Fox and all the superficial brats.

I LOVE him!! (A LOT!!!) But I’m not IN LOVE with him… I’m never in love with celebrities, I don’t think it’s actually possible to be in love with someone you don’t know personally… AND I’m only 14… don’t get me wrong, he was AWESOME, good looking, talented and everything and I’m a huge fan but… come on the age difference is of 37 years…

I love Michael Jackson, but I’m not IN LOVE with him.
I just can’t see him any other way, because I’m only 15, and because I’ve always seen him as a father/brother figure. And because of that, I feel guilty for smirking while watching music videos like Come Together, Dirty Diana etc. Tssk tssk.
But yeah. I kind of wish he was remembered as a role model rather than a sex symbol.

i love michael in the sense hes the most creative brilliant entertainer of this century and is unreplaceable. im always moved and cant help but sing and dance along when i hear his music. now that hes gone, its still hard to watch his videos or see him on tv, but his memory will live on through his kids, family and us! I respect him and THANK him for the amazing legacy he has given us, and in that sense i love him!

I love him. I don’t really understand why so many people are saying they are ‘in love’ with him; if you fell ‘in love’ with Michael Jackson, would that not require some kind of personal, shared bond between the two of you? I don’t know if you can really be ‘in love’ with someone if you do not know them on an intimate, personal level.

I’m in love with the Michael from the past, when he was happy and carefree. It was contagious. The more recent Michael (because of the large age gap, although I still think he was unbelievably handsome his whole life) it’s more of just a love. I wish I could have used my love to heal him, at least a little. Later in his life was when he really needed someone to love and care for him, and he never found the right someone
