Michael Jackson Top Albums

Survey: Do you ever wonder what music Bishops, Cardinals, and the Pope listen to?

Up until some of Tupac’s music got approved by The Vatican, I always imagined the guys up there listened to Gregorian chants, Arias, Masses and other secular music by Handel, Mozart, and others. But according to this publication found in a Pink Floyd fan site has totally blown my mind. I’m not thinking for one second that they just chose Tupac because of the impact hip hop/rap has made, but they also picked a great top 10 rock/pop dessert island albums

"L’Osservatore Romano, a weekly newspaper issued by the Holy See (Published since1861, the newspaper follows the Pope’s public activities, provides editorials by Catholic Church executives and publishes official Vatican documents) has extended its musical tastes to issue a list of what it considers to be the top ten pop and rock albums of all time. Amongst them is Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon. The paper said the 10 albums were the perfect listening material for anyone who found themselves marooned on a desert island."

Revolver – The Beatles
If I could Only Remember My Name – David Crosby
The Dark Side of the Moon – Pink Floyd
Rumours – Fleetwood Mac
The Nightfly – Donald Fagen
Thriller – Michael Jackson
Graceland – Paul Simon
Achtung Baby – U2
(What’s the story) Morning Glory – Oasis
Supernatural – Carlos Santana

When can they release the future songs of Michael Jackson?

Hello, we all know that Michael Jackson is officially dead, but he’s not gone forever. A lot of people are making spectacular tribute to him (a trend that I would more than willing to follow) and everyone has seen his movie This Is It and the accompanying album. But are we all sure that we actually heard the last of his beautiful voice? I read in my local newspapers that he and a talented songwriter are working on new songs for him to be on top again and some of them already have guest artists such as Akon and Jay-Z as well as Wyclef Jean. Has anyone else heard about this and when the family will be releasing these songs since they seized the hard drives containing them? If there is anyone who has current updates to this story, I would like to be the first to know, okay? Tell me all about it! R.S.V.P.
I know what you mean, Josh. I’ve seen This Is It and I still don’t believe that he’s gone for good. Thanks for the heads up.

Excuse my english (i’m Brazilian and speak Portuguese).

For a change, the Beatles, ONCE AGAIN, TOP occupy the election of a musical. Only this time, the source was somewhat unusual: until the Vatican decided to surrender to the talent of Fab4. Check out the full list and discuss the indications "church", kkkk

3. Pink Floyd – The Dark Side of the Moon
4. Fleetwood Mac – Rumours

And are you as surprised as I am that there’s no Wagner in sight?

Carrie Underwood Superbowl?

I am going to buy Carrie Underwood new album..i heard her sing tonight at the Superbowl and just thought she was great. anyone else in?

here where her reviews

Reviews were good:

USA Today:
"Moments later, with the color guard closely behind her on a makeshift stage at midfield, Underwood belted out a stunning rendition of the national anthem. Seconds after finishing the final note, Underwood looked toward the sky with a big smile as four F-15s flew over the stadium before peeling away on full afterburner, rattling the seats at Sun Life Stadium.

MTV;
Carrie Underwood excels no matter what the context. Fresh off her headline-grabbing contribution to the Michael Jackson tribute at this year’s Grammy Awards (where she adroitly weaved her way through Jackson’s "Earth Song"), Underwood took the microphone in front of a sold-out Sun Life Stadium in Miami to deliver a killer rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" before the kickoff to Super Bowl XLIV.

EW:
You want your National Anthem sung right? You call an American Idol alum. At least that seems to be the consistent (and, to be honest, correct) message brought to you by the good folks of the NFL. Last year’s Super Bowl found Jennifer Hudson singing “The Star-Spangled Banner,” while this year’s NFC and AFC conference championship games brought Kris Allen and Jordin Sparks to the mic to get in touch with their inner patriots (national, not New England). And for tonight’s all-eyes-are-locked-on-it game, we got Idol’s season 4 champ and ubiquitous country queen Carrie Underwood offering her own (not-surprisingly) exquisite twist on the National Anthem.

Daily Contributor:
Carrie Underwood’s version of the “The Star-Spangled Banner” during the pregame show prior to Super Bowl 2010 is one of the best renditions I’ve heard at a sporting event.

Dressed in a stunning white pantsuit and top, the 26-year-old American Idol Season 4 winner stepped up to the microphone without a hint of anxiety and delivered the goods under pressure. However, Carrie admitted that she was having the jitters singing in the biggest stage in American sports

How many copies did Michael Jackson sell of all his solo albums worldwide?

How many solo albums did Michael Jackson sell worldwide during his life? How many awards did he accumulate during his life? What is Michael Jackson’s top-selling solo album, and how many copies sold worldwide? In what country did he sell the most albums, and how many did he sell there?

How many autographs/signatures did Michael Jackson have?

I know for sure he has the signature from the Thriller album. And also the one that starts the "Moonwalk" book. But my father gave me this huge portrait of Michael, with something that looks like the signature from "Moonwalk" but it had another something on top of it, like I know it has another "J" Like "Michael Jackson" in signature and I’m guessing "Joseph" (middle name) on top of "Jackson". But I’ve never seen it before so, is it real or phony and like, made up?

Who Is a Fan of Lady Gaga?

I hate that to have slept on her back in 2008-when she debuted with "Just Dance", the single was very catchy but I thought she was just another one-hit wonder. Than she came out with "Poker Face" and that topped chart all around the world, than came along LoveGame, Paparazzi and new singles, Bad Romance and Telephone. All of these songs are great and she became one of the few female artist I can actually say is awesome! I’m very expanded with all kinds of music and this is a fresh breath of air…

I just bought my copy of The Fame Monster deluxe edition and those 25 tracks were eargasmic-definitely worth my ! I think though Lady Gaga is a weird artist by just looking at the way she dresses, she’s also the most unique one to debut in years. Is catchy, has good lyrics and whoever she’s hired to produce her song’s beats is to be mentioned also-I jut hope on her second album, there won’t be any recycling from the first.

Also, did you know before his death, Michael Jackson wanted to collaborate with her? I’m serious, just Google it-he also wanted to have her on his "This Is It" tour as a musical guest but the only a phone call from his tour manager was as far as this went. Though sad, that means a lot knowing the biggest star in the world (my opinion-you mileage may vary) wanted to work with Lady Gaga.

So, who else is a fan of Lady Gaga? Also, the douches who answer, "Not me" are accepted too-no one can stop you.
Richieeeee: I love how people like you pull such things to say out of your a$$. I’m a rockhead but love all types of music-better to be expanded than a douche like you. :)
