Los Angeles, California (CNN) — Songs that didn’t make the cut on Michael Jackson albums while he was alive and some forgotten recordings left behind on computer hard drives will be on an album released this fall which will include 10 previously unheard songs. Music producer Rodney Jerkins, who co-produced Jackson’s 2001 album "Invincible," has been working with Sony to put together the new album.

I think the songs that didn’t make the cut and weren’t recorded was because Michael didn’t want them recorded. When he announced the This Is It concerts he said, "I’m going to be singing the songs my fans want to hear". He could easily have recorded all those songs when he was alive but chose not to and he didn’t put new songs into the concert. Instead, he was going to highlight other talents he liked and had asked people like Lady Gaga to open for him in London.

I know this does happen after people die but Michael was a perfectionist and he’d be flipping in his crypt to know that SONY who sabotaged Invincible, an album Michael did record and release is now going to release music he chose not to record and release. I also think the family should have nothing to do with SONY. I know they need money for his kids but Michael despised SONY. He called Tommy Mottolo the devil and Michael never said a bad word about anybody. Thoughts?
The song "This Is It’ was released and Paul Anka said he co-wrote it and sued the family for half the profits after Michael died and he won. The song was also recorded in the ’80’s and not for the This Is It concert. This is the type of things that happen when the artist is dead and can’t have a say in what gets recorded.
